Nestled in the hills of the Upper Cumberland Plateau where moonshine has been made for hundreds of years, we are continuing the tradition. We make old-fashioned moonshine using a traditional copper still with non-GMO white corn and techniques that have been used for years to produce a quality smooth product.

Carrying on a family tradition, we do everything by hand, from malting our own corn to bottling and labeling. The recipe is the same as it was when the product was manufactured illegally, so you get that taste that many have enjoyed for years. The owners Scott and Sheila Hunt invite you to come visit Roaring River Distillery and watch and learn from their son Chad Hunt, who is now an experienced Master Distiller, as he explains the process of the craft
